This is the second video in a series where I attempt to paint (4) 6x6 canvases for my friends at the Lafayette Art Association in Lafayette, LA: https://www.lafayetteart.org/
Their 6x6 Event is an annual fundraiser where they provide (100) 6x6 canvases to artists, then auction the finished paintings. The auction is December 1, 2024. I have taught numerous workshops there and I love the people, the organization and the place-so please show them some love if possible.
In this video I begin applying violet paint over the yellow base I created in Part 1. These are very challenging canvases and I’m glad I don’t paint on them everyday - although they are still fun!
